These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Karvo Talent, a job-search and career-coaching platform operated by Geminisoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“we”, “us”), a company registered in India (CIN: U62013KA2025PTC198713). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Karvo Talent is a candidate-side product that lets you discover jobs, apply to roles, take optional AI-assisted assessments and mock interviews, prepare for interviews, and chat with our AI career coach (Nova) for daily check-ins. Companies and recruiters use our companion product, Karvo Scout, to manage the recruiting side.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use Karvo Talent. By using the service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Your account
- You sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure. We are not liable for activity on your Karvo Talent account that results from a compromised Google account.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information in your profile and applications, and to keep it updated.
- You may not impersonate another person, misrepresent your experience or credentials, or create multiple accounts to circumvent our limits.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the service through automated means without our written consent.
- Upload malware, attempt to break, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the service or its security controls.
- Submit content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, infringing, or that contains another person’s personal information without permission.
- Use AI-assisted features to fabricate experience, credentials, or assessment responses.
5. Content you submit
You keep ownership of the content you submit (your profile, resume, assessment responses, recordings, Career Coach messages). By submitting it, you grant Karvo Talent a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, and display the content as needed to operate the service — including sharing your application materials with recruiters whose roles you apply to, and using your assessment data to power matching, scoring, and feedback within your own account.
6. AI-assisted features
Karvo Talent uses third-party AI models (currently Google Gemini) for matching, scoring, mock-interview feedback, and the Nova career coach. AI output can be wrong or incomplete. You should treat AI feedback as guidance, not professional career advice. You are never auto-rejected from a job by AI alone — final decisions are made by recruiters.
7. Applications & recruiter interactions
When you apply to a job listed on Karvo Talent, the recruiter for that role receives your application materials and may contact you using the contact information you provided. Karvo Talent is a platform that facilitates these interactions; we do not employ you, guarantee responses from recruiters, or guarantee any specific hiring outcome.
8. Service availability
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time by emailing bhairavas@geminisoft.in. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, abuse the service, or use it in a way that could expose us or other users to legal or reputational risk.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Karvo Talent and Geminisoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd. disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of opportunity, profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed INR 5,000.
11. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
