Java Playwright Test Engineer

Infosys is hiring experienced QA professionals with strong Java + Playwright testing expertise for a permanent opportunity. 🔹 Role: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java, Playwright, and Selenium to ensure high-quality, scalable, and reliable applications. 🔹 Must-Have Skills: Strong experience in Java, Playwright (2+ years) including test runner, fixtures, trace viewer, network mocking, parallel execution, retries, screenshots/video, locators; hands-on with Selenium; strong in TypeScript/JavaScript with Node.js familiarity; experience in automation design patterns (POM/Screenplay, modular frameworks, reusable fixtures); CI/CD knowledge (Git workflows, pipelines, caching, artifact management, test sharding); strong debugging, root-cause analysis, and flaky test mitigation; good team handling, mentoring, and stakeholder communication skills. 🔹 Additional Exposure: API testing (Playwright request context, Postman, SuperTest), component testing, Docker, observability tools, cloud/browser grids (BrowserStack, LambdaTest), accessibility & visual testing tools, performance testing, exposure to microservices/.NET/Java backends. 🔹 Eligibility: 5–10+ years in QA/SDET with 2–4 years in lead role, proven experience building Playwright frameworks at scale, Bachelor’s/Master’s in relevant field. 🔹 Job Details: Permanent role, Salary up to 18 LPA, Work Mode – Onsite (WFO), Locations – Open for all Infosys locations, Notice Period – Immediate to 30 days. 🔹 Interview Process: All rounds virtual, except Hyderabad (R2 F2F).
