Job Title: Senior Python Backend Developer Experience: 6+ Years Location: Bangalore / Remote (India) Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Backend Developer to design, build, and scale backend systems powering high-traffic, data-driven applications. You will work closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver reliable and performant services. Key Responsibilities ● Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python ● Build and optimize RESTful APIs / Microservices ● Work with databases (SQL & NoSQL) for high-performance data access ● Implement business logic, validations, and integrations ● Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and best practices ● Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security ● Collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams ● Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability ● Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decisions Required Skills & Qualifications ● 6+ years of backend development experience using Python ● Strong hands-on experience with frameworks like Django / Flask / FastAPI ● Solid understanding of REST APIs , authentication, and authorization ● Experience with PostgreSQL / MySQL and at least one NoSQL DB ● Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and OOP ● Experience with asynchronous programming (async/await, Celery, etc.) ● Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications ● Experience working in Linux environments ● Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows Good to Have ● Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) ● Knowledge of Kubernetes ● Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, SQS) ● Exposure to CI/CD pipelines ● Understanding of system design and distributed systems ● Experience in fintech / SaaS / high-scale systems What We Offer ● Competitive salary based on experience ● Opportunity to work on real-world, scalable systems ● Ownership of backend architecture and design ● Collaborative and engineering-driven culture ● Learning & growth opportunities
